BIOGRAPHY

 

 

"El Turbión" is a tango quartet residing in Granada (Spain) since 2011 composed of Argentine guitarists Martín and Pablo Perdomo, and the singer Germán Pintos.

 However, history and the name of the group refers to the duo in Buenos Aires, in 2009, founded the aforementioned Martín Perdomo and Germán Pintos. During that year, "El Turbión" played in various enclosures of the local scene, presenting in their versions, a tango repertoire canyengue and suburban. In 2010 the duo traveled to Europe and performed concerts in Spain (Granada and Barcelona), France (Pau) in "La Fête de la Musique", and local Swiss town of St Gallen. Back in Buenos Aires "El Turbión" continues with performances in different concert halls, cycles and tango events. In 2011 the duo return to Europe, it settled in Granada, and expands its project with the addition of guitarist Pablo Perdomo. In 2012 they recorded "Tango de vereda", a live material, which is a selection of classic tangos with his own arrangements, and presents in different rooms of Andalusia. In September of that year the group toured France manages and conducts presentations in the cities of Paris, Pau and Tarbes. In 2013 its members recorded a new album of original compositions entitled "Turbias Canciones" and it accurs during the month of march in festivals, milongas and halls of Spain and France. In August and September of the same year the group participated in tango festivals Tarbes and Pau (France), Ferrara Buskers Festival (Italy), Invisible Film Festival of Bilbao (Spain), Rontegui Parties Bilbao (Spain) and offers concerts in different milongas and theaters in the cities of Grenoble and Toulouse (France).

 

With a personal imprint "El Turbión" decides to transmit the culture of a genre that continues to grow, turning their experience, to create a spontaneous, porteño seal at each concert.
